Dec 13, 2013  The Bescor MP 101 is now one of my key pieces of equipment in my video and audio arsenal. It provides really smooth pans and helps me set up my shots much quicker than before.

Used for remote control of video cameras, digital cameras or security cameras. This unit is very quiet.

It is used in churches, on masts, aerial photography, jib arms, camera cranes, videography, law enforcement, architectural photos, etc. Two motors allow independent and simultaneous smooth adjustment of vertical tilt and horizontal panning. You can pan and tilt at the same time, you can make diagonal movements.

Speed is continuously adjustable from 3 to 12 degrees per second. Pans 180 degrees in 15 to 60 seconds. Supports cameras up to 6 lbs. Not intended for use in direct rain. 15 degree Vertical Tilt up and 15 degree Vertical Tilt down. 30 degree total Vertical Tilt.

170 degree Pan to the right and 170 degree Pan to the left. 340 degree total Horizontal Panning. They operate for years, have a thick plastic case, brass worm gears, no backlash, a light touch remote control. The hand held remote control has a cable 4 foot long. All vertical measurements are taken from the center of the image as seen through the camera. The camera may have a wide angle lens and show much more above and below the center lines. The camera may have a telephoto lens and show only a small amount above and below the center lines.
