10.9 SYNERGY is an innovative, pioneering concept of providing intensive holistic training of Olympic rifle shooters through a series of workshops. The concept was created and developed by 3 successful and passionate Olympic rifle shooters, with almost 100 years of combined experience in the Olympic shooting field (as coaches and shooters). We see innovation and collaboration as a way to offer diverse, flexible, professional tailor-made coaching in every aspect of shooting needed to produce Olympic rifle shooters. 10.9 SYNERGY is a new concept in training Olympic rifle shooting through intensive workshops. It was born from a long term friendship between 3 successful international shooters: Snjezana Pejcic, Guy Starik and Nemanja Mirosavljev – Slim. The concept was born at a dinner table, during the Grand Prix Novi Sad in May 2016. Theory and practice reno. After a long conversation about many aspects of rifle shooting, we realized that the synergy between the 3 of us is unique, and can be shared to help every shooter at any level to maximize their potential and bring them to new levels of shooting.
One of the best results of our synergy can be seen in Snjezana’s success in becoming the shooter of the year 2015, and world record holder in 2016. Each one of us brings different qualities to the training sessions, although we share the same passion, love and depth of understanding of our sport. My name is Guy Starik, and I’m a very lucky guy. I’m happily married and have 3 wonderful children.
My lucky star has made sure that my profession is also my passion, and I have enjoyed every single day of my career for all of the 40 years. As a shooter, I’m known as a “prone specialist”, although, most of my success as a coach, came from air rifle and 3p Since 1992 I was given the opportunity to play on both fields as a shooter and as a national team coach, which enabled me to gain unique depths, perspective, and point of view.
Also, it allowed me to understand many of the aspects of Olympic rifle shooting. As an ISSF A lisence coach, I work on a daily bases with a wide variety of shooters: juniors (in my home club),Israeli national teams, and Paralympics shooters. I was a personal coach of World champions, European champions, World Cup winners, and Paralympics multiple medalist. I’m really excited from this innovative project, and sure that our unique team can make coaching in the highest levels avialable for every shooter in the world! I found myself at the shooting range because my friend wouldn’t take no for an answer. It wasn’t really love at first sight, but I kept on coming back because I don’t know how to quit.
And luckily for me I finally managed to do really something big after 13 years of shooting. Usually people go step by step and win some medals before they win (if ever) an Olympic one. Of course I did the opposite. I won the bronze medal at the Olympics in Beijing. It was a fantastic experience and very much an unexpected one. After that, everything else fell in place and my career started unwinding. Who are Snjezana, Guy and Nemanja?
